The All New Rimfya.com.au

Exciting news! We've just launched our brand new website over at rimfya.com.au

It's been in development now for a few months. You may recall we considered changing the business name entirely but decided against it. So instead our first ever new logo (after about 8 years) debuts online.

We hope you like the new look!

Snippets of Inspiration

Alt

Easily my favourite new website of the moment is dribbble.com. It's much like 'Twitter for designers', where great designers from around the world take a cropped snapshot of their works in progress.

It allows you to focus on the elements within a design that make it special. Rather than the consuming the whole at once.

These guys sweat the details, isolating some of the work on the site down to the very pixel is simply awe inspiring. Great for inspiration.

How Old Spice Man 'won the internet'

Alt

If you've been on the internet lately, you had to have seen the Old Spice Man's assault on the internet. With his swagger and ridiculous attitude he took the YouTube by storm, and took along Twitter and the rest of the internet with them.

But the incredible lengths that the staff behind the scenes went to, just to pull it off is staggering.

This article is a fascinating read into marketing, advertising and what it takes to get everyone's attention these days!

Type Tip: Buffallo

This is barely a type tip. More a good journey into the English Language.

I thought the longest sentence you could make in English using one word was 'Police police police'.

I was wrong.

Best of YouTube: Ymerodraeth State of Mind

Alt

As a Jay-Z fan, it turns out there's few things better than a Welsh parody of a hip-hop song.

The original was pulled down in the UK since apparently parodying a song isn't considered 'fair use' like it is in the USA.

Hope this is still online by the time you click it.

Rimfya will be taking a week off in September

Alt

Just a public service announcement here at the end.

We'll be closed from 9-15th September 2010. So if you need something finished urgently around that time, best to organise it now!
