All new website launched!

Just last Friday we launched the very new www.rimfya.com.au, there's still one or two small things that will need ironing out over time, but it's basically all go!

The focus was on having larger portfolio images, a better showcase of client work, a more verbose section about us and our goals and a blog that might get updated more regularly than the last one!

Also of course it's just nice to have a fresh coat of paint.

So check it out, tell your friends. All feedback is appreciated.

Holiday break over 2009-2010

Main Content Inline Small

About time for some time off right? 2009 could easily be the fastest year ever.

We'll be shut down from Thursday 24th December in the afternoon and returning Monday 11th January.

We plan to be in full communication blackout mode over that time too, so if you need something pre-Christmas best to get onto it now!

Google and its grasp of the internet

Here's an interesting article speculating on how Google will continue to take over the internet. It's more than search and text ads now.

Google will help drive the speed of the internet, the power of the online applications we use and what we define as online communication beyond email.

It could be all crazy talk, a genuine threat to Google could be around the corner. But it's interesting to consider none the less.

Type Tip: Quotations and Double Quotations

Main Content Inline Small

Here's a type tip I feel I'm even glad I checked up on.

Use single quotation marks when you are directly reporting what someone said or wrote.

Example 'The Rimfya Email is super informative!'.

Use double quotation marks when you have a quote within a quote.

Example 'Terrence told us "The Rimfya Email is super informative!" and then he hung up'.

I remember the first time I saw this video, it was the most puzzling thing I'd ever seen. But give it a week, it'll come back to haunt you with its bizarre hilarity.

Given my sense of humour, you may refer to this segment as 'Worst of YouTube'.
